Guess I'm NOT a country girl...

These are tomato hornworms. Over 3 inches long. They ate my tomato plants. And pooped. A lot. I looked them up and found that they turn into something called HAWK moths (!), with a wingspan of 5 inches (!!). Holy Mother of God. (Fortunately, The Hubby saved me from certain death by tossing them far, far away. I hope.)
